Training of trainers’ workshop held

The National Emergency Management Agency in cooperation with the World Vision Mongolia implementing the “Local Resilient to Climate Change” project 2023-2025, funded by the United States Agency for International Development.

Within the framework of the project training base in order to for citizens with the “Be Ready” training module program to provide the citizens with disaster risk reduction knowledge and understanding.

Colonel Ts.Uranchimeg, Director of the Prevention Department of NEMA gave an opening speech, and B. Oyuntuya, leader of the “Local Resilient to Climate Change Project” participated in the opening ceremony and expressed best wishes to trainers for further training activities.

A two days training will provide knowledge and information to prevent potential disasters and common accidents, reduce risk, learn ways to live safely and develop habits and attitudes to ensure own safety and that of others.

More than 100 citizens from 12 khoroo of six districts of the capital city are participating in the workshop.

By the way, the “Local Resilient to Climate Change project” will be implemented in 12 districts of the capital city, 18 sums of Gobi-Altai, Dornogovi, Dornod, Dundgov, and Uvs provinces.
