Views exchanged on project implementation and process

The Chief of NEMA Major General G.Ariunbuyan received Mr.Tanaka Shinichi, Head of Representative Office, JICA in Mongolia.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the implementation and process of the “Strengthening the National Capacity of Earthquake Disaster Protection” project’s second phase which is implemented by the National Emergency Management Agency in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA.

In the second phase of the project, to increase public awareness of the need and requirements for buildings resilience, develop relevant rules, and instructions.  Also, it promotes the capacity of engineers and technicians’ knowledge, supports the ability of citizens to protect themselves from disasters, and creates training bases and materials.
