Colonel Ts. Nyambayar, Director of the Fire Fighting Department of NEMA received Zhang Yang, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on implementation of the “Agreement on prevention of cross-border forest and wildfire and cooperation in fighting fires” between the governments of the two countries, and exchanged wildfire situation information on the territory of Erdenetsagaan of Sukhbaatar province, Matad and Khalkhgol Soums of Dornod province, on 08-11st April.
In addition, the parties discussed the future information exchange on forest and wildfires near the border and wildfire prevention, organizing training to provide knowledge wildfire awareness and fire security and cooperation to ensure the implementation of the above-mentioned agreement.
