22,034 Insured herdsman families paid 16.8 billion mnt compensation

Colonel D.Baasansuren, Director of the Risk Management Department of NEMA, participated in the "Resistant Mongolia" forum organized by "Mongolian National Double Insurance" JSC in anticipation of its 10th anniversary.


As of October of this year, 16.8 billion MNT compensation will be paid to 22,034 herder households in 218 sums with indexed livestock insurance. This is the highest compensation in the history of the insurance.


18 percent of all herders in the local area are covered by livestock-indexed insurance. Feather, it was emphasized that with the support of local management and herders, it is necessary to focus on increasing insurance coverage.
