Colonel Uranchimeg Tsogtbayar, Deputy Chief of NEMA Meets with UNDP Resident Representative to Discuss Upcoming Launch of Mongolia Dzud Socio-Economic Impact Assessment and Resilience Strategy Policy Recommendations

Ulaanbaatar, May 15, 2025 – Colonel Ts. Uranchimeg, Deputy Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia, held a meeting today with Ms. Matilda Dimovska, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mongolia.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed preparations for the upcoming public launch of the “Mongolia Dzud Socio-Economic Impact Assessment and Resilience Strategy Policy Recommendations”. Key topics included setting a date for the event and finalizing the detailed organizational plan.

NEMA expressed its strong commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the event and discussed possible avenues for cooperation and support. Both parties reaffirmed their interest in strengthening collaboration and expanding future partnerships to enhance Mongolia’s disaster resilience.
