Exchanged views on project implementation and further cooperation

Chief of NEMA, Major General G.Ariunbuyan had a meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank and exchanged views on the joint implementation of the project "Strengthening the Integrated System of Disaster Early Warning in Mongolia".


With the implementation of the project, an early warning and information system will be set up in the country, and the preparedness of radio communication and information equipment for disaster prevention in local and emergency organizations capacity will be improved.


Furthermore, there will be a reduction in potential damage to citizens and enterprises, and a situation to overcome disasters, dangerous phenomena, and incidents with less damage and disaster risk reduction.

Exchange of views on launching cooperation between the two countries in the field of disaster protection

Participants engaged with leaders from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Social Security of Vietnam. They explored the activities of the Training Center associated with this department, as well as the work of the Red Cross Committee, which facilitated a constructive exchange of information.
