Since 2017 the National Emergency Management Agency and the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development (SDC) are co-implementing a project in three phases, ‘Improving the National Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capacities of Mongolia’.

Within the framework of the project, the Swiss Federal State expert works at the National Emergency Management Agency on August 19-23, 2024.

Brigadier General D.Namsrai, Deputy Chief of NEMA held the meeting with experts and exchanged views on the progress of the project and measures to be implemented in the future.

The ‘Improving the National Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capacities of Mongolia’ will become a major foundation for Mongolia to have an international search and rescue mid-level team.

Regional training kicks off in the southern region
