The National Emergency Management Agency, in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund, conducted a training on "Child Protection Policy, Disaster Preparedness, and Planning" in Hovd Province, Central Western Region, on October 2nd-3rd.

Officers from the "Council of Parents" in the Emergency Management Department of Gobi-Altai, Hovd, Bayan-Olgii, Uvs, and Zavkhan provinces took part in the training and obtained their trainers' certificates.

On September 1st, a guest teacher from the General Department of Child and Family Development Protection provided information about implementing the revised "Child Protection Law." The discussion focused on the work procedures and future goals of the parents' council within the framework of the "Child Protection Policy" of the Emergency Organization. The teacher also shared experiences and information on organizing responses to disasters and emergencies, discussed planned future measures, and empowered the officers.
