A visiting team led by General Regis Colcombe, the head of the Department of Defense and Security Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe of the French Republic, got acquainted with the activities of the National Rescue Brigade under NEMA and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Unit No. 10 of the Emergency Department of Chingeltei District.
The team members exchanged views on cooperation. As part of this visit, they reviewed the performance of firefighting vehicles and technical equipment supplied to the 10th Firefighting and Rescue Department. This equipment supply was made under the agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of France, as part of the "Special Purpose Firefighting Vehicle Supply Project."
The team also learned how this equipment is compatible with Mongolia's environment and climate.
Additionally, tools and technical equipment used by the National Rescue Brigade were demonstrated, including rescue operations from heights and performances featuring search dogs. Thus, the visit by General Colcombe and other representatives, at the invitation of Major General G. Ariunbuyang, has concluded.
