Joint meeting with U.S forest service instructors organized

The Technical Working Group on Developing Strategy and Organizing Training, under the National Emergency Management Agency, recently held a joint meeting with trainers from the U.S. Forest Service.
During the meeting, participants discussed plans for the years 2025-2026, shared their experiences, and focused on enhancing officers' professional skills.

In collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Forest Service has facilitated several training programs over the years, supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development. These programs include a training session on the "Incident Command System" in 2019, an e-training on the "Emergency Operations Center" in 2022, and additional training courses on the "Incident Command System" in 2023 and 2024.

Participants engaged with leaders from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Social Security of Vietnam. They explored the activities of the Training Center associated with this department, as well as the work of the Red Cross Committee, which facilitated a constructive exchange of information.
