Joint emergency preparedness exercise held for cop17 blue zone personnel

Ahead of the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, the National Emergency Management Agency organized a joint disaster preparedness tactical exercise for personnel assigned to the COP17 Blue Zone.

The exercise brought together representatives from NEMA, the Ministry of Health, the General Police Department, the State Special Protection Department, the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority, Ulaanbaatar Electricity Distribution Network, the Mongolian Red Cross Society, and other relevant organizations.

The exercise tested emergency response procedures, inter-agency coordination, and the readiness of assigned personnel.
