Nema delegation participated in final workshop on integrated framework for last-effective disisater risk management

The NEMA delegation led by Colonel Ts.Uranchimeg, Director of Prevention Department, and Colonel B.Bayanmunkh, Director of Operations Management Department attended at workshop held in Ninning of the People’s Republic of China on 4-8 December.

Workshop attended by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of State Resources, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Guangxi Development Reform Commission and the Department of Finance of Guangxi Province of China as well as representatives of Southeast Asian countries.

During the workshop participants exchanged views on six main session: Disaster risk identification and assessment, disaster resilience, disaster response and emergency management, regional cooperation, social inclusion, education and capacity building.

Although, participants got acquainted with the technical and vocational education training center specializing in the field of disaster rusk management, and visited the exhibition of emergency equipment and digital technology and the activities of the emergency response center.
