Views exchanged on winter situation and on cooperation

The representatives of the United States Development Agency got acquainted with the operation of the Emergency operation Center of the State Emergency Commission and the winterization.

As of the 10th of January, 64,665 million livestock belonging to 190,760,000 herder households are wintering in the total provinces, and as of December 20, 2018, more than 7,000,000 livestock of 18,000 herder households are wintering in the otar zone and border strip of the province.

As of January 10, 2010, in accordance with Government Resolution No. 286, there was a situation of metal or glass zud 18 procent of 8 provinces area, white zud in 85 procent of 16 provinces territory, and white zud in 75 procent of 16 provinces.

During the meeting, introduced the Government and the State Emergency Commission have made relevant decisions and are implementing countermeasures due to the situation.

Sides exchanged views on how to cooperate in severe winter conditions and support for providing fodder and humanitarian aid to households.
