UNICEF has provided support for standby equipment and facilities for communication activities

The United Nations Children’s Fund and the Disaster Communications Cluster delivered communication and information technology equipment and spare parts in support of disaster communication organization and spatial information system operation of the Emergency Organization.

In this event, Brigadier General J.Chultemsuren, First Deputy Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) emphasized “We operating to have an integrated electronic management system based on spatial information technology systems in order to reduce the risk of disasters and implement prompt and effective response measures in Mongolia when disaster event occur. The disaster early warning system with advanced technology, implementing the international standards, the system for ensuring the organization of communication during the disaster, and the systems of the disaster protection department and professional units will be connected.

Brigadier General J.Chultemsuren, First Deputy Chief of NEMA thanked to team for support and cooperation in disaster preparedness, risk assessment, and capacity building directions.
