The National Emergency Management Agency and the Swiss Development Agency are co-implementing a project "Improving the National Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capacities of Mongolia".

As part of the project, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation experts Markus Grunenfelder and Simon Tsu worked at NEMA on March 18-22, 2024.

According to the visit, experts evaluated activities which planned to implement this year. In addition, within the framework of the project, both sides decided to organize several series of trainings in the field of search and rescue operations, management in the urban. Sides agreed to cooperate in the direction of improving modular training facilities.
