Nema officers attending the seminar on post-disaster recovery capacity building for developing countries

The seminar organized by the Chinese Red Cross Society and the Chinese Red Cross Training Center under the title of "Strengthening the post-disaster recovery capacity building for developing countries" is attended by the National Emergency Management Agency officers, and its affiliated National Rescue Brigade, and the officers of the 9th Mining Rescue Unit.


The officers are getting acquainted with the activities of the Red Cross Committee of the country, and are participating in table-top training on providing first aid to victims of disasters, post-disaster recovery, and the participation of Chinese public and voluntary organizations during disasters.


During the seminar participants will share experiences with the post-disaster reconstruction of hospital and school buildings in Sichuan, which was affected by the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan Province, Republic of China. The seminar will held until the 21st of August, 2024 in Beijing, Republic of China.
