The delegation led by the National Emergency Management Agency Chief, Major General G. Ariunbuyan, paid an official visit to the Republic of Poland from September 30 to October 1, 2024.

During the visit, the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia and the University of War Studies of the Republic of Poland signed a cooperation agreement in Warsaw. This agreement will allow NEMA and the academy to exchange experiences.

The University of War Studies (Akademia Sztuki Wojennej; AszWoj) is Poland's primary professional military institution. In 2016, the National Defense University (Akademia Obrony Narodowej, AON) was transformed into the University of War Studiess by the decision of the Ministry of Defense and restructured.

The University of War Studies was established in 1765 by King Stanisław August Poniatowski, who founded the Cadet Corps, the first public school in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Cadet Corps was renamed the Military Academy (1919-1946) and then the National Defense University (1991-2016).

ASzWoj offers bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees, as well as specialized military personnel training. Located in the eastern suburbs of Warsaw, the academy has over 600 teachers and staff members, as well as more than 2,400 students.

The National Emergency Management Agency commenced training its officers in 2019. Since then, 4 officers have completed training in operational-tactical and operational-strategic fields, and one officer is currently undergoing training.
