NEMA holds a discussion on cooperation with JICA

During the meeting, the Administrative Office of Hyangan Province of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China handed over 600,000 yuan worth of forest and field firefighting equipment to the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia.

The training on "child protection policy, preparedness, and planning for disaster protection" concluded

One of the goals is to establish childcare facilities and kindergartens connected to the organization through the parents' council in each branch and unit to ensure the safety of the Emergency Service personnel's children.

Aircraft rescue practice was conducted

The training is currently on its fourth day. Today, a helicopter search and rescue exercise was conducted as part of the training, and the rescuers are actively participating in diving sessions and sharing experiences.

Regional training kicks off in the southern region

The two-day training will be held in the framework of two main areas: child protection policy, disaster preparedness, and planning, and a guest lecturer from the General Department of Child and Family Development Protection is participating to provide information regarding the revision of the Law on Child Protection. 

Mongolian and russian rescuers hold joint training in Mongolia

The training will held till September 13, in Khanh, Khatgal, and Tsagaanuur Soum. More than 50 personnel of the Emergency Organization and 11 personnel of the Russian Federation Natural Search and Rescue Squad are participating.

Exchanged views on project implementation and further cooperation

Since 2017 the National Emergency Management Agency and the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development (SDC) are co-implementing a project in three phases, ‘Improving the National Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) capacities of Mongolia’.
